The Wellness Revelation by Alisa Keeton

We live in a world that is obsessed with losing weight and physical beauty, everything that is surface deep. Where most of these trendy diets fail is that they only address the surface and never really dig deep into a person's identity. This is where The Wellness Revelation by Alisa Keeton takes a different turn. She shows you how you can become a better version of yourself, meaning more healthy, along with finding your true identity in the one that matters, God!

I have read quiet a few books recently on wellness since I am on that path myself, but I really have enjoyed reading this one more than others. I feel that Keeton has found a part of weight loss that is often overlooked and if we don't address all aspects then we are not setting ourselves up for the best life.

For an industry that is very much self-focused, surface deep and superficial, this was a refreshing read. I loved that she includes an 8 week bible study to help you as you start to take that turn towards a life of better health. The study really helped me to focus on my motives and why I wanted to get healthy. It also helped ground me in my true identity and reenforce that, no matter what, I am good enough and loved just as I am, but it's ok to make my life/body better. Keeton helped me address a  few underlying issues that would be holding me back from weight loss and release those so that I can move forward and enjoy the journey.

This truly is a transformational book, both for the inside as well as the outside.

To top everything off, she has a podcast you can listen to, as well as getting certified as a Wellness Revelation trainer, and other amazing extras that are fantastic and will make this a complete program you can do at home, with a group of friends, or you can find a trainer in your area and work with them.

I really think this program has been a turning point in the fitness industry and I would love to see her book and program get more recognition in the fitness community.
