Unstuffed by Ruth Soukup

In an age of minimalism we are feeling more and more motivated to declutter our homes, but have we thought about decluttering ourselves? In Unstuffed by Ruth Soukup, she calls the reader to purge themselves of all the stuff that is keeping them from what's important in life.

Ruth talks to the reader from a place of understanding. She KNOWS what the reader is going through. We have so much stuff that it gets in the way of what we really want to matter and because of that it's taking over our lives.

The book is broken down into 3 parts: Home, Mind, and Soul. I loved this about the book since I could focus on one aspect at a time. She really takes the time to dig into what is really causing the problem and how we can address that to eliminate the extra stuff in our lives.

While there are plenty of biblical references in this book, which I loved, you can apply what Ruth talks about in her book to any life. So, if you happen to be of another religion or non-religious you can still use the tips and tactics in this book to unclutter your life.

This is the first book I have read of Ruth's and I have to say that I wouldn't mind reading more. Just to let you know, I have not been a follower of her blog either so all this was new to me. Easy to read and practical, this book is great for anyone who is wanting to get rid of "stuff" and move towards a more purposeful life.
