We all want an extraordinary life and some of us will go about it by starting our own business and becoming an entrepreneur. That road is tough but one that is worth it. In Find Your Extraordinary by Jessica Dilullo Herrin she takes you through her path to starting Stella & Dot Family Brands all shows you all the twist, turns, and not so pretty things that go on behind the scenes of creating a brand and company.

As an entrepreneur myself I really loved this book. Herrin doesn't sugarcoat starting your own business, but instead shows you ever single aspect of it that you need to know. She shows you how you will make sacrifices, loss potential investors, and make decisions that will ultimately transform your life. She is open and honest about her path to success and lays it all on the line for the reader.

What I loved the most about this book is that she has what she calls "the Six P's" of entrepreneurial spirit; Passion, Path, Power, People, Perseverance and Productivity. These are probably the best things I have ever read about when it comes to starting a business. Without these traits then your business will not have what's needed to make it a success.

I couldn't put this book down. She draws you in with her writing and life story, but at the same time, teaches you about how to start your business or look at your existing one in a new light. I actually read this book in just a few hours. Yes, it was that good and filled with that much insight. I can't wait to implement all her nuggets of wisdom into my current start-up.
