Of Mess and Moxie by Jen Hatmaker

Jen Hatmaker has a new book out titled Of Mess and Moxie with the tagline of "Wrangling delight out of this wild and glorious life." In this new book, Hatmaker encourages women to go beyond their faults and life a live filled with nerve and determination.

If you are looking for a book that will be highly convicting and motivating, this is not the one. Now, that is not such a bad concept since Hatmaker's writing style is a very conversational and "best-friend" like. She has written a very easy to read book that talks to you like you are enjoying a cup of sweet tea with her as a friend and not so much preaching at you to "do this."

I can't say that I love this book, but I feel that it's fairly good overall. It's extremely easy and quick to read and you have the feeling that Hatmaker can completely relate to the trials and struggles you are facing since she is very transparent and open about those in her life. She even has joke and makes fun of herself a little in this book. She is very real and relatable.

You will laugh, ponder, and even think "me too," while reading this book. Hatmaker shows you that life can and should be good despite all of the twists, turns and sidetracks that will come your way on this crazy journey.
