NIV Revolution: The Bible for Teen Guys

Zondervan has always been a publisher of some amazing bibles for the whole family. Recently they released a new bible for teen boys titled NIV Revolution: The Bible for Teen Guys in the NIV translation. Now, I am not a huge fan for themed bible for kids, because you can fill them with unnecessary things and take away from the real reason for reading the Bible, but Zondervan did a great job with this teen Bible and I am completely in love with this one.

Included with the NIV translation of the Bible, which is known to be one of the easiest translations to read and understand, are some wonderful features that will help your teen dig deeper into the Bible itself and also his relationship with God.

There are 6 extra features in this bible that I think make this a go-to one for your teens. They are: Be the Change, Live the Revolution, God Calling notes, Battle Lines, Matchups and extra pages throughout that help you follow your faith and be a better man. These little features are scattered all through the bible and are great reminders of who you are in Jesus, how to apply what you are reading to your daily life, explanations of scripture that might stump your teen, tips on ways you can change the lives of those around you, and even comparisons of the "good guys" and "bad guys." Oh, and I can't forget that there are extra articles and even reading plans at the back. Zondervan has thought of EVERYTHING!!!

Honestly, I have found this to be my favorite "guys" bible that I have had the chance to review. It's very applicable to the teen life and helps them to become a godly man. I can say that I really love this Bible. It's put together very nicely, full color so it's eye-catching, and real. I would suggest this for every young man and even a tween. I think it would be a nice way to start their tween years off with a Bible that will carry them through to their adult life. This would make a great gift for that special teen!

(Disclaimer: I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.)
