NIV Bible For Women

I love new bibles. Yes, they are the same translation I already have, for the most part, but it's the little extras that catch my attention. In the new NIV Bible for Women there are a couple features that I thought might help me along my walk.

This bible is your regular NIV translation which is easy to read and navigate through.One of the most popular Christian, female writers, Shauna Niequist wrote a short forward to this fabulous bible.

Included with the NIV translation of the bible are 260 devotionals that are encouraging, thoughtful, and sometimes, convicting. With the devotional there is a reflection question you can use for a journal prompt or just to think about and prayer suggestions to help you focus your prayers on what you just read. With 260, you have one for each week day of the year. Now, for the weekends, you have 52 myths which you could use for a Saturday devotional and then you have your Sunday worship service. There...Your year is set with just one book. No need for a separate devotional and bible.

This would make a great gift for a women who is new to the faith or likes the convenience of an all-in-one bible/devotional.
