It's Good to Be Queen by Liz Curtis Higgs is a study through wisdom. Higgs brings us a book about the Queen of Sheba and  brings us a queen that we normally don't study into new light and the forefront of our minds. Looking at this book from afar, one might think it's a fictional tale about the Queen of Sheba. But like other books from Liz Curtis Higgs it's a wonderful bible study, grounded in scripture, and filled with great insights.

Based off the scripture verses of 1 Kings 10, Higgs walks you through, verse by verse and shows you the different qualities it takes to be as wise as the Queen of Sheba. Each chapter places focus on a part of our lives that we can work on improving to be more like the Queen. She walks you through things like: being honest, searching for wise counsel, how to give generously and receive with grace, and even how to end well.

This is yet another great study from Higgs. The book is such an easy read, filled with scripture, and well researched that it was a joy to read through. Like a lot of other bible studies, there are discussion questions and a study guide at the end to help you dive deeper or run a small group of your own.
