Bible Story Coloring and Activity Book by B & H Editorial Staff

I love finding new coloring/activity books that I can give my kids to have fun with and, at times, can be implemented into my homeschooling curriculum. The new coloring and activity book from B & H, Bible Story Coloring and Activity Book, is a wonderful new addition to our homeschooling and fun time.

The layout of this book is very purposeful and because of that, you could use this right along side your daily bible reading. It starts with the story of God creating the world and moves through the bible in the order these stories occur. I really appreciated this aspect and thought because I can find certain stories easily and quickly to go along with what we are working on OR I can start at the beginning of the book and read through our bibles in the order they were placed into the bible.

The features of this coloring/activity book are fantastic. There are, of course, the coloring pages which I think cover the age spectrum (4-8) perfectly and I would even like to color them myself they are that good.  As for the activities, some of the them I think the younger ages might need a little help with, but at the top of the range, they should be able to do these without any additional support. The activities include: word searches, dot to dot, coded messages, crosswords, mazes and so much more. There are so many activities your child will not get bored with these.

One of the features that I really thought was great was the short guide for parents at the beginning of the book. B & H has thought of everything to be of help so that parents can use this book to grow their child's faith while making it fun and engaging.
