Launch Your Dream from Dale Partridge

I have been introduced to a ton of new authors lately and Dale Partridge has been one of them. I know from research that he is the also the author of People Over Profit, but in this review I am going to talk about his new book, Launch Your Dream. Launch Your Dream is a 30 days step by step guide to getting your own dream business off the ground and living out what you would love for your life to be.

As a business owner myself, I am always looking for new ideas and some helpful tips to help expand my business or ones that I can implement into the new ideas that I come up with. I am really skeptical of business books because there is so many different aspect to running your own business that I don't think one book can cover them all.

With Partridge's new book, I have to say that I am a little one the fence about it. One on hand I think it's a wonderful book for someone who knows absolutely nothing about business and this would be their first time taking that step towards becoming an entrepreneur. The book was extremely easy to read and how he has it broken down makes it wonderful to use what he is teaching during the time you are reading it. He covers TONS of the aspects that are necessary to run your new business including, but not limited to, branding, social media, plans, growth, etc.  Really this is a basic foundational book for those who might not be the most business savvy.

Now, on the other side of the fence, seeing as I am a previous business owner and have a preexisting foundation in business, this book was a little rudimentary for me. It did have a few tidbits that I can use to expand my business and put into place into my business plan, but for the most part, it was very elementary and to be honest, I feel that it was meant to be this way.

So, if you know nothing about business and are looking to start your dream job, this is the book for you. If you already have a foundation in business, I would have to say, skip this book. You could probably find another one that might be more suited for your level.

(Disclaimer: I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for my honest opinion. All thoughts are my own.)
