Reclaiming the Lost Art of Biblical Meditation by Robert J. Morgan

A lot people shy away from meditation since there is a "new age" stereotype associated with it. In Reclaiming the Lost Art of Biblical Meditation Robert Morgan shows you that meditation can be a great addition to your walk with God, and will lead to a better and deeper faith.

I really like this book because Morgan shows you how to focus your meditation time so that you go into it being prepared and having the ability to get the most out of your time. His writing is very grounded in scripture and he leads you back to the bible, which I love. There is also a 10 day study guide at the back of the book that can get you jumpstarted on your path to biblical mediation.

There is one thing that I actually got a little aggravated with. Throughout the book Morgan directs you back to his website to get a free study guide and meditations. When you go to that address there is nothing there, none of the items you are directed to find. I had to SEARCH his site and only came close to what Morgan was talking about. To get your free meditations you will need to scan in your receipt and jump through some hoops to received it. Now, this doesn't really effect the substance that is in the book, but for me, it's the little things that can be a bother. For me, the study guide at the back of the book was enough.

Overall, this book would be a great way to deepen your faith walk and I highly suggest you read it.
