30 Anniversary Edition Becoming a Woman of Excellence by Cynthia Heald

As a woman I want to be thought of as excellent. An excellent mother, wife, and Christian just to name a few, but the list could go on and on. Becoming a Woman of Excellence by Cynthia Heald really hit my heart where it mattered most...being an excellent child of God.

As I stated we all have many different has to wear and they can becoming overwhelming. I read through this book and didn't really take the time to study through it, but once this review is done I will most definitely be doing so. I will be adding it to my daily quiet time since this has been really convicting about my walk with God.

The book itself is broken down into 4 parts {The Goal, The Cost, The Prize, and The Praise} which work together wonderfully and seamlessly. Cynthia speaks with a knowing of what you are longing for. She knows that what our soul really desires can't be found in our society today, it has to be found in God and she challanges you to walk deeper with Him and become the woman that you know you really long to be.

Throughout the book there are study questions that would make this a wonderful resource for your church women's ministry.  You could even use it with your student ministry for your teen girls or do a mother-daughter study!

I am going to start working through this study and I know that even reading it a second time, I will glean even more by pairing it with my bible.
