Whatever Is Lovely: A Coloring Book for Reflection and Worship

I have always loved to color, even when it wasn't cool. I would use pages that I could find on the internet or children's coloring books when I wanted to color. One recent trend that I find myself drawn to are the adult coloring books that many publishers are releasing. One such coloring book is Whatever is Lovely from Waterbrook Multnomah publishing house.

This coloring book is FILLED with gorgeous pictures to color that have either quotes from today’s popular bloggers, authors and hymns such as: Lysa Terkeurst, Emily Freeman, Lisa-Jo Baker, and many more. There are some images that, instead of writers, they have scripture beautifully displayed for you to color.

I love this book for many reasons. First, I like to color. It’s a great stress reliever and a way to find some peace in this crazy world. Second, the paper the images are printed on is thick and great for just about all mediums, whether it's crayons, colored pencils, markers, etc. But, what I really love about this coloring book is that it’s an outside of the box way for me to spend time worshiping God. I can turn on some great worship songs or classical music, get a cup of tea and meditate on God while coloring a beautiful image that I can frame later. These images would be beautiful to display in your home or office.

{I received a copy of this book from the publisher, in exchange for my honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.}
