FaithGirlz Bible NIV

There are so many bibles out for kids that it's really hard to discern which one would be best for your child. Me, personally, I like to have a bible that I feel will reach out and grab my child's attention and pull them into God's word. I have found a great study bible for young girls and teens that has previously been a best-seller. ZonderKidz has just released a newly updated version of FaithGirlz Bible NIV and I have to say, it's pretty good.

The new addition has a sturdy hard cover that will keep it looking nice for years, but one of the best features of the cover is the magnetic closure. I just loved this little feature and feel that it's the small things that make the biggest difference sometimes.

The color scheme will catch the eye of any tween that loves purple and teal. Accompanied with an owl on the front, it's very inviting and will call your little princess to open and see what treasures lie inside.

Included in this updated version is the NIV translation which is wonderful for making the bible easy to read and understand. But, this bible also includes the extra features written by Nancy Rue that are in the older versions.

  • Book Introductions
  • Is There a Little
  • Dream Girl
  • Bring It On
  • Words to Live By
  • Oh, I get it
  • What Happens Next
I know that some might think this would make a great bible for teen girls, and I have to say that I agree in some part with that. I feel this bible would be wonderful for a young teen, tween, and even older elementary girl. To me, the feel of this bible is a little elementary for an older teen that might be looking for a more "grown-up" bible.

Overall, this would make a wonderful baptism, first communion, and even an Easter gift.
