The Gentle Art of Discipling Women by Dana Yeakley

I know that this review of The Gentle Art of Discipling Women by Dana Yeakley can never do it justice. This was one of the best books I have read recently. Seeing as my ministry is online {resolutelife.org} most wouldn’t think that this book could apply to me, but it in fact does more than I could have ever asked for.

What I loved about this book is it forces the reader to address their walk with God before it gets into how to make disciples from other women. Without a strong relationship with the Lord, you can not, and will not be well equipped to help other women in their walk with Him. This is what the first part of the book is all about.

The second part of her book is all about how to mentor and disciple other women with practical ideas and tips on ways to improve your ministering to other women.

This book will make a great study for your women’s ministry team, your small group bible study, or just yourself. I would HIGHLY suggest you pick up this book and study with your women’s ministry team, it will definitely strengthen your women’s ministry in your church.

PS. If you want to do an online study of this book, I will be leading one on my website resolutelife.org towards the end of January. Get your team together and join me online.
