Praying God's Will for Your Life by Stormie Omartian

I have always been a fan of Stormie Omartian's and love all her books. She recently has updated one of her older book titled Praying God's Will for Your Life and I can't believe that I haven't read it before this point.

In this book she asks the reader to contemplate their relationship with God and what their life has to offer. We are all wondering if we are living the life we are meant to and if we are living God's will and Omartian helps guide us to a place where we can have a close, connected relationship with God and to hear His will for us.

What I loved about this book is the fact that you don't have to be a seasoned theologian to understand the purpose of the book. Omartian is very personable and honest with the reader about her own struggles and how she worked towards overcoming them. She shows the reader that regardless of circumstances you can have a connect with God as long as you are seeking Him out. There are little small "guides" at the end of each chapter that lead you back to the bible to seek God more, outside of the pages of this book.

When it comes to the audience for this book, I would have to say that anyone could read this. From teenager to a senior, new Christian to someone who have lived their whole life as a Christian, literally just about anyone who wants to strengthen their relationship and faith in God and with God could benefit from reading this book. It really is an easy book to read, but very convicting at the same time. Omartian has a way of reaching across any boundaries, just to connect with her reader.
