The Sleep Revolution by Arianna Huffington

After reading Thrive by Arianna Huffington I thought I would seize the opportunity to read her new book The Sleep Revolution. I have to say that I was seriously disappointed.

This book was promised to be a "sweeping, scientifically rigorous, and deeply personal exploration of sleep from all angels..." and it was. So much so with the science part that the book itself was too much science and not enough personal writing.

I thought going into reading this that it might have some new insight into how to get better sleep, but instead I was overwhelmed with sleep facts, history and here and there I might have noticed a personal tidbit. There were only a few tips and tricks on getting better sleep, but they have been told to the world before and are stale ideas.

From an author that write Thrive {which I like} this book has my hopes up, but I was sadly let down. I don't know that I will take the time in the future to read anything Arianna Huffington publishes. If they are all like this, I know I won't be reading any of her future books.

Save your money and skip this book. You could pretty much Google anything found in this book.
