NIV Zondervan Study Bible

I have had the liberty of reading many study bibles lately, but none that are more through than the new NIV Zondervan Study Bible. With over 2800 pages, this bible is HUGE and filled to the brim with extras to enhance you bible study time and understanding of scripture.

Since this bible is the NIV translation most people are familure with it and if you aren't, it's an easy to read and understand translation. But, the translation is where the similiaries to other bibles stops.

What sets this bible apart are some of the wonderful features that are included in this study bible:

• Amazing study notes for nearly all scripture. I don't think I have seen this many study notes in one bible before.
• Fantastic book introduction with information that helps you read the book with new eyes. 
• Cross-references
• Article about topics such as: Shalom, Worship, Wrath, and The City of God, just to name a few.
• Concordance that fills over 100 pages.
• Full Color images and maps.

I love this bible and it will help immensely with my studies. The only drawback is the size. This one will definitely stay on my desk since it's so big, and actually kind of heavy. It's not a bible I see myself carrying to church every week.

One of the really cool features that's included isn't exactly in the bible. When you buy a copy there is a card at the back with a code that allows you to get a digital version of this bible. You will have both a desk version and a pocket sized version for one price.
